On Wednesday 15 July 2009, at Maningrida, Northern Territory, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and MrMichael Bryce AM AE visited the Maningrida Youth Centre and met with the Community Reference Group.Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce hosted a community barbeque at the Youth Centre. In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce visited the Maningrida Museum and Art Centre. Later, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce accompanied the Djelk Rangers on a patrol of the Maningrida coastline.Then, at Mala€™la Aged Care Centre, Maningrida, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce attended an afternoon tea and met with residents.Earlier, at Sydney International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the departure from Australia of the President of the Republic of Nauru, His Excellency the Honourable Marcus Stephen MP, by Captain Raymond Leggatt ADC RAN, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
